Fact: 143 million - 210 million children across the world are orphans. (Recent UNICEF report)

Fact: Every 2 seconds, another orphan dies from malnutrition.

Fact: Every day 5,760 more children in the world become orphans.

Fact: Orphans throughout the world face many challenges including malnutrition, starvation, abuse, disease, loss of family property, lack of education, and death.

Fact: Millions of children are being trafficked, forced into debt bondage or other forms of slavery, and forced into prostitution and/or pornography.

Fact: 1 out of 6 children do not have access to safe drinking water. 

Fact: Most orphans survive on less than $1.00 a day.

Fact: Together, you and I CAN make a difference.
“The truth is that the 143 million orphaned children and the 11 million who starve to death or die from preventable diseases and the 8.5 million who work as child slaves, prostitutes, or under other horrific conditions and the 2.3 million who live with HIV add up to 164.8 million needy children. And though at first glance that looks like a big number, 2.1 billion people on this earth proclaim to be Christians. The truth is that if only 8 percent of the Christians would care for one more child, there would not be any statistics left.”
